Patrick Mooney is a Senior Director of User Experience with over 25 years of experience shaping enterprise-scale digital products and systems. Trusted by global teams as both a people leader and keynote speaker, he is recognised for combining strategic vision with inclusive leadership to deliver measurable business impact.
He specialises in defining UX strategies, design systems, and governance models that enable large organisations to deliver consistent, accessible, and human-centred experiences at scale. Patrick is also a regular keynote speaker at international conferences, where he shares insights on enterprise UX, accessibility, and design leadership.
Dublin UX
Patrick founded Dublin UX in 2015, growing it into Ireland’s largest design community with over 4,000 members and more than 55 live events. He continues to organise and host the series, which has become a cornerstone of the Irish design community.
Inclusion & Belonging
Patrick is the Chair of the first Pride Employee Resource Group at UHG for Ireland & UK. In this role, he leads initiatives that foster inclusion and belonging, empowering employees to bring their authentic selves to work. Under his leadership, the group has become a visible advocate for change and community across the region.
